Barely minimum wage
Still it’s worth my while
When people fill the aisles.
Reading words upon the page

Don’t buy a bookstore if you want to dance.
You won’t find romance.
Not between these covers
Your work life balance never stood a chance.
Deals and high finance
All to keep booklovers.

No seduction without deduction
Might be capital gain
All you really need.
Is a book to read.
Loving books is worth the pain.

Do buy a bookstore if you want to laugh
Readers are a blast.
